The Wax World Museum in Ooty is a great alternative to sightseeing mountains and natural valleys of Ooty. The Wax World Museum is situated within a 130-year old Colonial Mansion in Ooty close to the Ooty Lake and the Ooty Town Centre. It is a very good place to visit and has many wonderful pieces of real life art.Avoid week end days and don't park the cab on the road side instead park your vehicle on the parking lot.This place will be more enjoyable and informative experience especially for kids. Do not forget to visit the horror room which is next to the museum.
Wax museum has few wax statues. There is a guide who explains about the statues. This place is not well maintained.We visit within 5 minutes. I felt the tickets are costly.
If you are in Ooty you should visit this wax museum once... Nice wax statues of many great Indian personalities representing Indian culture..There is similar wax museum in Mumbai also which is very popular as Red Carpet Wax Museum, This museum has wax models of many Bollywood and Hollywood stars and others great peoples.. If you are in Mumbai then you should visit this museum also...Its great tourist attraction in Mumbai...
This place is very old.Still no new update. I assume it’s waste of your money and time. Various new exhibits have come in Ooty. Better to avoid it if you have less time.
Only limited personality in the museum and not maintained properly. Entry fee is high. It is better to skip this place and you can visit tea factory or do window shopping.
We visited during our Ooty Trip.It is recommended to visit only if you have time. We finished our visit less than 10 minutes. Some statues are carved wonderfully. However, the place is small and has poor lighting. If they maintain it well then it will surely attract more people.
This is a small wax museum when compared to the one we have seen in other places.The entry fee is Rs 40/- per adult and the number of statues is less. This is still worth the bucks we pay.
This is a small wax museum located in Kotagiri road. Possible to see a different type of statues which are made of wax. Entry fee is Rs 40/- per adult.There is a chocolate factory near this tourist spot where you can buy good choco and tea products. A good place for Children.
Wax World is on the way to Doddabetta. The work of art is appreciable and all the models made with perfection. Abdul Kalam is the best in all the sculptures.
