Lamb's Rock is a view point within a reserve forest about 8 kms from the Coonoor Bus Stand. Watch a sheer precipice of several hundred meters with a phenomenal view of vast stretches of forests all the way to the Coimbatore plains. Between January and March, the trees become extremely colorful. Beneath the rock, lies a vast forest reserve. On the right, there is a Hullical ravine featuring Coonoor river. It is among favoured tourist spots, which can be approached on the way to Dolphin's Nose or the Seat.

The trek to the view tower from the parking area is interesting and once on top there are fantastic views of the mountain ranges and the train line from Mettupalayam to ooty is also visible from here.

It is a beautiful place for trekking and carry umbrella or some thing to save yourself from rain in case.Drive to this place only if you are good in hills drive.Beware of monkeys.Avoid week ends and go on week days to enjoy the view.
Lambs rock is the most scenic place to visit in Coonoor.We loved this place because we walk around more than at dolphins nose. The visit to Lambs Rock is really enjoyable. Worth place to visit with friends and families.
I saw very beautiful and scenic views of Nilgiri in this place. I have spent 40 minutes with my friends. Cab driver described the place. The stretch is beautiful and I almost kept looking on all sides. It was a nice experience of enjoying the breathtaking view of nature.
This is the place everybody must and should visit in Coonoor, the forest view at the Lamb's rock is wonderful.The parking place is slight tight during season time. The tea gardens on the way will lock your journey at there.It is the most charming place in Coonoor.
