The planting work of 6000 flower plants in Ooty Bottanical Garden is going actively

The work of preparing 6000 flowr plants at Ooty Government Bottanical Garden has been going effectively.Every year first or summer season season held at month of May and June and Second season at October and November in Nilgiris.

Nearly three million flower plants were planted at Bottanical Garden for the first season. Now entering the off season, the old flower plants are removed to plant new plants and the seeds are collected from the old plants.The Bottanical garden preparation work has also started.

There will be mostly new married couple visit Nilgiris at second season. So 25 varieties of flower plants like cornesan, Fancy Astor etc., are going to be planted in the garden to attract the couples. In addition upto 6000 flower plots are prepared to display at the garden. The flower plots are currently filling with the soil. The planting work is expect to start after this work.
