More than 22,000 people visited Ooty for last three days . Large number of tourists come from other Districts and States to visit Tourist Places in Nilgiri District.The major tourists attractions are Ooty Bottanical Garden, Rose Garden , Pykara Boat House, Pykara Falls, Coonoor Sim's Park, Dolphin Nose and Lambs Rock.
Ramzan Festival celebrated in the state of TamilNadu on 18th July 2015. As the Weekend and Ramzan Holidays on last 3 days all the tourists places in Nilgiri District were filled with the tourists people.Ramzan Festival celebrated on 17th July in the State Of Kerala, so there were more kerala people converged at Ooty.Last Three days there was rain in Nilgiris, which affects the daily routine life of the people.
Ooty Bottanical Garden is a key attraction in Ooty , which is visited by 3,999 people on 17th July , 8460 people were visited on day before yesterday and 1000 people were came to visit it on Yesterday.For past three days,nearly it is visited by twenty Thousand people .Due to heavy crowd the traffic is disrupted. The traffic police worked to clear the traffic in rain.
Ooty Boat house is also one of the popular tourist spot in Ooty , more than 9000 people were visited this place last three days regardless of rain. Similarly the other tourists attractions like Sim's park, Lambs Rock , Dolphin Nose ,Mudumalai, Pykara Falls and Boathouse also draws more number of visitors.All the hotels in Ooty were filled with Tourists. So the traders were happy.
