Maintenance work of Flower plants for second season has started in Bottanical Garden
Planting work at Ooty Bottanical Garden has been done to make the tourists happy for second season.This work started at 16th of last month.There were seventy varieties of 2.50 Lakhs flower plants including French peppy,Aster,Verbina,Lumina,Sweet William,Candila etc., newly planted in beds and pots of various regions of this garden and about 6000 pots of multicoloured plants were also planted in this region.
As the planted flower plants started to bud,the maintenance work of planted flower plants has been carried out by the workers.The staffs also engaged in the work of removing unwanted plants which affect the growth of the plants.
Due to frequent drizzling in Ooty, the flower plants has started to grow and flourish.The Horticulture sector people said,second season will surely draw and entertain large number of tourists.
