Government Botanical Garden becomes one of the best tourist destination in Nilgiri District.The Planting works, Pavement alignment works has been carrying out in this garden for the forthcoming summer season.The ponds of the garden have dried without water.In addition, there are 7 ponds including the pond which located near the entrance of the garden, the pond near meadows garden and the pond located at Italian Garden namely Alli pond have dried up.

There is a severe difficulty in watering the plants due to lack of water.So the water has been brought from another place through the truck and that has been using to watering the plants.And even the ponds of the garden are filling by the truck water supply.As the impact of the sun will be high on coming days, so the water requirement will also be high on summer season.
