Hyenas found dead at Mayar Forest area

Hyenas found dead at Mayar Forest area:

Mayar Forest comes under Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in Nilgiri District.There are wild animals including Elephants, Tigers, Leopards, Wild Cattle and Deer are inhabited in this forest.Every day acrobatics patrolling the forests.As usual, the forest staffs were at Patrol Duty on yesterday.In this one of the hyena was found dead. The staffs reported this issue to the authorities of Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.

The Forest Staffs, Field Director Mr Raghuram Singh, Mr.Sadaiyappan, and veterinary doctor Vijayaragavan have rushed to the spot and autopsy the body of a dead hyena.It is found that the dead hyena is female of age six and it was dead due to illness.Its components were then collected and sent for chemical testing.
